Finca Bonita Springs is located in Alto Lino, Boquete, Panama, just ten minutes from downtown Boquete. It was owned and managed by the Miró family for over 80 years. The farm comprises 36 hectares of land ideal for coffee cultivation, descending into the heart of the Boquete Valley.
Water is the most abundant feature of the farm: two rivers, four streams, five natural springs and two waterfalls flow through the land and affect it in terms of soil chemistry and native flora and fauna.
With the high amounts of rain and humidity from the valley, the cold and misty Atlantic winds coming from the continental divide, as well as the warmer Pacific breezes from the southern lowlands, the property has a unique range of natural microclimates.
In 2017, Arturo Miró and Olmedo Miró launched a new business model, transforming the existing farm and the traditional harvesting and selling process into a fully operational specialty coffee farm, including its own drying and processing facility. The changes on the farm have been exciting and rewarding to watch.
